The walls that try to separate us…

The walls that try to separate us
Do so at their own expense —
We will break them down.

Can’t they tell we are strong enough
To withstand whatever hurdles
They place in our way?

We don’t believe in walls.
We thrive on trust and openness;
Our survival skills are honed to perfection.

The walls that try to separate us
Will not stand, but if they do it would mean
We’ve given up on our love.

    1. Thank you.
      Most times I write a poem then find a suitable image. That image was the perfect fit.
      Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great weekend! ☺

      1. Precisely! That’s why we gotta find the strength to keep pushing forth ❤
        My day was good; I looked at that salad you posted and thought…hmmm..that'll probably make the menu next week. So thanks for that too! LOL!
        How's your weekend going?
