He spoke

The man who never said a word.
The man who only smiled.
The man who’s silence I found unsettling.
He finally spoke.

He thanked me.
He seemed sincere.
He told me I’d be missed.
He gave me a big hug.

I didn’t think he cared.
I didn’t think he paid attention.
I didn’t think he’d notice my absence.
I was dumbfounded.

      1. Working a lot.
Not sure what day it is sometimes.
        It’s all a blur!
        Starting a new job Monday.
        This week has been bittersweet.
        Lots of goodbyes.

  1. Well.. sometimes .. don’t express their feelings through words…

But you can still tell how they feel just by taking the time to look their way…
you might have seen a smile… a twinkle ✨ in the eyes..

    It tells a lot..
    Silence speaks volumes
